MPost ePoBox: a virtual PO Box for everyone
Designing the landing page and the account flows that let people turn their phone into a formal postal address and link it to a physical post office.

Context
MPost is building a database of universal digital addresses. ePoBox lets a person who has no formal address, for home or business, get one tied to their phone, and receive mail and parcels through a linked physical post office.
The problem
Linking a digital address to a physical one involves identity, location, a courier and a subscription payment: four things that can each cause drop-off. The flow also needed to feel safe, since people are sharing a national ID and a photo.
The solution
- A dashboard that coaches. A profile-strength tracker (personal details, link with physical address, link to workplace, add selfie) shows progress and what to do next.
- Short modals for each task. Linking to a post office takes four fields (country, courier service, branch, national ID), then a payment step with mobile money number entry.
- Location by map. Link to a home address by searching or confirming on a map, with a clear confirm and back.
- Identity with care. A guided selfie step (centre your face in the oval) with retry.
- Celebrate completion. A “Link Complete” confirmation states the outcome and the subscription expiry date, and returns users home.
- Growth hooks. Badges and “Invite a friend” build engagement and referrals.

Outcome and what I learned
I led the design of the web platform and landing page and translated business requirements into prototypes and high-fidelity UI, working closely with developers. Lesson: for onboarding that asks for sensitive information, progress and reassurance matter as much as the form itself.
